For use in interior applications where greater than normal moisture resistance is required. Commonly known as moisture resistant gypsum board, M-R board, or green board, ProRoc® Moisture Resistant Gypsum Board products are designed to provide better moisture resistance. All ProRoc® Moisture Resistant products are manufactured with a specially formulated moisture resistant core encased in water resistant 100% recycled paper. This combination provides an effective barrier to moisture penetration. The product is recognizable by its signature green face paper. Advantages. Dry construction. Factory-fabricated gypsum panels eliminate excessive moistrue in construction. Low in-place cost. The easily cuty gypsum panels apply quickly, permit painting or other decoration and the installation nof metal or wood trim, almost immediately. Fire protection. The gypsum core will not support compbustion or transmit temperatures greatly in excess of 100 degrees Celsius. Crack resistance. With joints reinforced by one of CGC joint systems, SHEETROCK Gypsum Panels form walls and ceilings that are exceptionally resistant to cracks caused by structural, thermal and hygrometric changes. Nonwarping. Expansion or contraction under normal atmospheric changes is negligible.

CGC SHEETROCK Humitek Gypsum Panels

SHEETROCK HUMITEK Gypsum Panels have a noncombustible, moisture and mould-resistant gypsum core that is encased in a moisture-resistant, 100 percent recycled blue face and brown back papers. The panels feature tapered long edges for easy finishing. AVOID exposure to temperatures exceeding 52 degrees celcius. Avoid exposure to excessive or continuous moisture before, during and after installation. Not suitable for use in high moisture areas such as tub and shower enclosures, gang showers and other areas subject to direct water exposure. Non-load bearing. COMPLIANCE – with ASTM C36, C1396. Per ASTME136, gypsum core UL-classified as noncombustible. Per ASTM E84 and CAN/ULC S102, flame spread is 20; smoke developed is 0.

DensGlass sheathing enhancements announced in 2008 include enhanced fiberglass mats which offer even better wind uplift resistance, make the product easier to handle, and reduce the amount of primer needed for self-adhered membranes. The improved wind load values of DensGlass sheathing enable it to withstand winds in excess of 155 mph – a Category 5 Hurricane – when installed horizontally with the proper screws and spacing. Georgia Pacific DensShield® Tile Backer

Forget greenboard and heavy, hard-to-install cement backer board. DensShield backer board is a better option.
